"Janice is incredible and a serious pro! She practices positive reinforcement and really cares about her students/parents success. We did private sessions with my rescue dog Cleo, who was seriously struggling with recall and pulling on the leash. Having a background in animal behavior, Janice quickly recognized Cleo had attention issues and taught me invaluable skills to gain her focus and become successful, not to mention she also provided weekly worksheets with info for training on our own AND met us at her studio, my house, and a state park to make sure Cleo would listen in various scenarios. "I can’t recommend Janice enough. She immediately saw the potential in my dogs and loved them as if they were her own. Through her reward based training my dogs were stress free and enthusiastic during the training sessions which made learning fun for them. One of the first things I learned from her training ( and has stuck with me the most ) was to always praise them for being good. My dogs are very receptive to this and it has brought out a desire in them to show me just how “ good “ they can be. They are totally different dogs now than they were before the training. If you are looking for a kind, gentle effective trainer Janice is the best!"

"Janice is the perfect dog trainer for any dog out there. Our rescue dog at over a year old came to us, and her first class, absolutely terrified. She wouldn’t even come into the building. Every week, Luna grew leaps and bounds, and this is all thanks to Janice. She taught us, the owners, exactly what we needed to do to help ease her fearfulness, and to start to train her. Luna is significantly less fearful, can walk well on a leash, can sit, stay, wait, lay down, leave it, and more! All of that, only 6 classes in. We will be continuing our training with Janice for sure!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Janice. We took our golden retriever to puppy kindergarten 1 and 2 with her, and every moment there was nothing but positivity, fun, and RESULTS! My pup would get so excited when he realized we arrived at class, and it was a completely safe environment (no punishments or physical force used). I loved this class so much I drove from 40 minutes away. Janice truly cares about the dogs in her class. We had an incident where our pup was attacked a few weeks after our class had ended and Janice spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me giving advice, recommendations, and things to look out for. I HIGHLY recommend her and the perfect pup."

"In November we found ourselves with a real "dog" challenge! We adopted a 6 year old Goldendoodle through the internet. We were told she was a sweet dog and that she was being retired as a breeding dog. She had always lived in the kennel so we were aware that there would be an adjustment period. "I brought my dog to the obstacle training course as I was told it may increase his confidence as he was afraid of his own shadow. After working with William and continuing the suggested trainings at home I can see an amazing change in my dog. He is now definitely more confident and less afraid/not afraid of things that used to terrify him. The classes also gave him much needed mental stimulation and allowed for him to get out his energy. We started Puppy Play & Train Camp with our labrador, Daisy, at 10 weeks old. Janice, Cheryl and Kevin are absolutely fantastic. They use positive reinforcement to teach the dog and also teach us how to reinforce the behaviors at home. They also treat Daisy as their own; they are so loving and care so much about the success of our girl! We have three young kids at home and we knew we would need some help getting started on training. Janice's team has helped us immeasurably! Daisy's progress has been astounding. She is a great family dog and we are having so much fun with training at home with the homework that the trainers give us after each class. We are so happy we made the investment before we had any real behavioral issues.
